About Baginda168
Baginda168 reviews online casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission for players in Great Britain. We score every operator against a published 100-point rubric, verify every licence against the regulator’s own register, and publish criticism of operators we earn commission from.
What we cover, and what we do not
We cover operators holding a Gambling Commission licence, for a United Kingdom audience. That scope is narrow on purpose. The consumer protections our rubric assumes — GAMSTOP participation, compelled dispute resolution, mandatory deposit and loss limits, independent game testing — exist because a British licence requires them. Scoring an operator outside that regime on the same scale would produce a number that looks comparable and is not.
So we do not cover operators licensed only elsewhere, and we do not cover crypto casinos. Every crypto casino we have checked is absent from the Gambling Commission register, which is explained in full in our guide on crypto casinos and UK players.
Why the site exists
Most casino affiliate sites publish a score out of ten with no explanation of where it came from, and that score is often just the order of who pays the most. It cannot be checked, which is the point of it.
We publish the rubric instead: six components, fixed weights, and the sub-score for each on every review. If you think a score is wrong, you can name the component you disagree with. That is a lower bar than asking to be trusted, and a more useful one. The whole method is on how we review.
How we are funded
Some outbound links to operators are affiliate links, and we may be paid a commission when a reader opens an account through one. We are not paid by you, and we do not sell anything.
The rubric is applied and the score recorded before any commercial terms are discussed. Commission does not buy a score, a ranking, or the removal of a criticism — every review carries a mandatory section on where the operator falls short. Our affiliate disclosure sets out exactly what that relationship does and does not affect.
What we have not built yet
We would rather state this than let the site imply otherwise.
- There are no named editor profiles yet. The site currently has no editorial staff to name, and we will not invent bylines or credentials to look established. When there are real people writing here, they will appear with real, checkable backgrounds and an author archive.
- The operator reviews are not scored yet. Licence data for all eight listed operators is verified against the public register, but bonus fairness and withdrawals — 40 of the 100 points — depend on terms we have not finished checking against each operator’s own published terms. Until that is done, no score is shown.
- Email is not configured. See contact for how to reach us in the meantime.
Publishing a site with visible gaps is worse for a first impression and better for a reader, and the second is what the rubric is for.
Our position on the brand name
Baginda168 is a UK-market publication covering UK-licensed operators only. If you arrived here expecting content for another market, this is not that site, and we do not produce content for jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited.
